Amàre Hotels has opened its first resort outside Spain, placing the brand's Mediterranean-styled, adults-only concept on a beachfront stretch of Cancún's Hotel Zone. Hilton announced the debut of Amàre Cancún Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort, Curio by Hilton, calling it the first Curio Collection by Hilton property in the city. The 429-suite hotel opened on in Playa Langosta.
The resort is owned and operated by Fuerte Group, the family-run Spanish hotel company behind Amàre's properties in Marbella, Ibiza and Sancti Petri over the past decade. According to Hilton, this marks several firsts for the group: its first hotel outside Spain, its first all-inclusive property, and Amàre's introduction to the Americas. The brand's pitch has centered on treating the Mediterranean as a lifestyle rather than just a body of water, and Hilton says that design-forward, culture-led approach now crosses the Atlantic to Mexico's Caribbean coast.

A protected bay and a curated all-inclusive model
The property sits at Km 4.5 on Boulevard Kukulcán, at the northern entrance to the Hotel Zone, along a stretch of coastline Hilton describes as a protected bay where natural currents keep the water calm and largely free of sargassum for most of the year. The location puts guests minutes from the Isla Mujeres ferry terminal, area golf courses and Cancún's restaurant and nightlife scene, and roughly 30 minutes from Cancún International Airport, which has nonstop service from major U.S. cities including New York, Dallas and Miami.
Rather than a standard all-inclusive buffet-and-bar model, Amàre Cancún leans on what Hilton calls expert curation — specialists shaping the resort's food, drink and atmosphere rather than a generic package. The resort houses seven restaurants, two rooftop infinity pools with 360-degree views, a spa with nine treatment rooms, and a premium tier called The One. More than 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space is also part of the offering, aimed at both leisure travelers and small meetings or celebrations.
Curators oversee cocktails, coffee and the art on the walls
Hilton said the resort's details — from the cocktail list to the artwork in its hallways — were shaped by outside curators working across gastronomy, cocktails, coffee, music, wellness and art, an approach meant to distinguish the property from typical all-inclusive resorts in the region.
"Amàre Cancún marks an exciting new chapter for Amàre and an opportunity to bring our approach to hospitality to Mexico through the lens of the unique energy and culture of Cancún," said Santiago Gonzalez, general manager of the resort. "We want our guests to experience a resort that feels social yet unhurried, where gastronomy, wellness, music and meaningful moments come together naturally throughout the day."

The opening adds to Hilton's broader push into all-inclusive resorts, a segment the company has been expanding through its Curio Collection and other soft brands. For travelers eyeing the Hotel Zone, Amàre Cancún is now bookable directly, positioned alongside the area's established luxury and all-inclusive properties along Boulevard Kukulcán.
