Minor Hotels has completed a significant phase of its digital infrastructure overhaul, bringing Oracle's cloud-based property management system to more than 100 hotels spanning nearly 60 nations, the company announced.

The Bangkok-headquartered hotel operator has implemented Oracle OPERA Cloud at 106 properties distributed across 59 countries, marking a substantial commitment to standardizing its technology platform across diverse markets. The cloud-based system replaces legacy on-premise solutions with a unified platform designed to streamline reservations, guest services, and property operations.

According to the announcement, Minor Hotels plans to extend the deployment to additional markets in coming months, with properties in Australia and New Zealand identified as the next phase of the rollout. The Oceania expansion will bring the group's technology infrastructure in those markets into alignment with operations already migrated to the Oracle platform.

The implementation represents a comprehensive technology transformation for Minor Hotels, which operates brands including Anantara, Avani, and NH Hotel Group across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Indian Ocean. Cloud-based property management systems have gained traction in the hospitality sector as operators seek to centralize data, improve operational efficiency, and enable mobile-friendly guest experiences.

By consolidating onto a single cloud platform, the hotel group aims to achieve greater consistency in guest-facing services while simplifying technology management across its geographically dispersed portfolio. The Oracle OPERA Cloud system provides real-time access to property data and supports integrations with third-party booking channels and guest service applications.
