Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana Opens Adults-Only All-Inclusive
The 467-room beachfront resort in Cabeza de Toro marks the brand's Dominican Republic debut and expands Hyatt's Caribbean all-inclusive portfolio.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation opened Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana on Sunday, bringing the Hyatt Vivid brand to the Dominican Republic for the first time and adding to the company's all-inclusive footprint in the Caribbean. The 467-room adults-only property sits on the shore of Cabeza de Toro in Punta Cana, designed around wellness programming, flexible dining and what Hyatt calls a relaxed, socially connected travel style.
The resort features guestrooms and suites built with natural textures, warm neutral tones and locally inspired design elements that reflect the coastal surroundings, according to the company. Hyatt said the property reimagines the all-inclusive model through immersive wellness offerings, curated culinary experiences and authentic cultural connections delivered in a flexible setting for modern travelers.
"The opening of Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana reflects both the continued strength of the Dominican Republic as one of the world's premier leisure destinations and our long-term commitment to growing alongside it," said Javier Águila, President, Inclusive Collection, Hyatt. He added that the opening strengthens Hyatt's position in all-inclusive hospitality while introducing a resort experience aimed at guests seeking a more relaxed and socially connected way to travel.
Grupo Anacaona partnered with Hyatt to develop the property. The Dominican Republic now counts 30 Hyatt Inclusive Collection resorts and more than 16,000 rooms, making it one of the company's largest all-inclusive markets. The new property positions Hyatt Vivid as an experience-driven brand encouraging guests to reconnect with themselves, each other and the destination.
Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana represents the company's latest expansion in Punta Cana, a destination that continues to attract major hotel investment. The adults-only designation and wellness focus distinguish the property within a crowded resort market increasingly segmenting by traveler type and experience.
