Delta reopens 12Status for Seahawks fans, awards miles per passing yard

Delta Air Lines has reopened enrollment in 12Status, its Washington-based SkyMiles program that awards members one mile for every passing yard the Seattle Seahawks accumulate during the 2026–27 season, the carrier announced Tuesday. The program, named for the team's fanbase nickname, returns as the defending Super Bowl champions begin their new campaign.

Delta said it will mark the initiative's tenth anniversary with a celebration hub at Pier 62 on Sept. 5, coinciding with the Seahawks Party at the Pier pre-season event. Fans enrolling at the waterfront activation will receive a commemorative luggage tag, and attendees can participate in a Delta-branded trivia contest for prizes including an autographed item from tight end AJ Barner and two $500 travel credits.

The program extends beyond mileage accrual. Members flying from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport during the season will board in Zone 5, a priority tier ahead of basic economy passengers, Delta said. They also receive 12 percent off purchases made on the twelfth of each month at Seahawks Pro Shop locations in Renton and at Lumen Field.

"Seahawks fans are one of the greatest fanbases in all of sports, showing up for their team beyond just the game, and of course throughout last season's epic championship journey," Emmakate Young, Delta's managing director of sponsorships and partnership management, said in the announcement. "We're proud to have spent 10 years showing up for them the same way with miles, access and experiences."

Delta's SkyMiles Experiences arm will offer game-day hospitality packages and VIP access at home and away matchups throughout the season, the airline said. Enrollment is restricted to Washington State residents. The waterfront event requires advance tickets available through the team's website.
