Chase Boosts World of Hyatt Business Card Welcome Bonus to 70,000 Points

Chase has raised the welcome offer on its World of Hyatt Business Credit Card to 70,000 bonus points, according to a report from a travel-rewards analyst. New cardholders can earn the enhanced bonus after spending $7,000 within the first three months of account opening.

The increase follows a similar boost to the consumer version of the World of Hyatt Credit Card, bringing the business product in line with its retail counterpart. The business card carries a $199 annual fee but includes benefits designed to offset that cost, including up to $100 in statement credits annually when cardholders spend $50 or more at Hyatt properties.

A key differentiator of the business card is its accelerated path to elite status. The product awards five elite night credits for every $10,000 spent in a calendar year, reportedly a faster accrual rate than the consumer card's structure of two elite nights per $5,000 in annual spending. Cardmembers automatically receive Hyatt Discoverist status for themselves and up to five employees as long as the account remains open.

High-volume spenders can access an additional benefit: 10 percent back on redeemed points at properties where they stay, activated after reaching $50,000 in calendar-year spending and capped at 20,000 points returned annually. The card is said to fall under Chase's informal 5/24 rule, meaning applicants who have opened five or more credit cards across all issuers in the past 24 months may face denial, though approval typically does not count toward that total for future applications.

The elevated offer positions the business card as a competitive option for frequent Hyatt guests seeking both bonus points and a faster route to elite-tier benefits within the loyalty program.
