HHM Hotels Absorbs Wurzak Hotel Group Portfolio in Management Deal

HHM Hotels has finalized a strategic alliance with Wurzak Hotel Group that transfers management of WHG's entire portfolio to the expanding hospitality operator, the company announced this week. The transaction consolidates several premium-branded and lifestyle properties into HHM's platform while leaving ownership structures unchanged.

The integration brings notable assets including The Dalmar — a lifestyle property in Fort Lauderdale — alongside the Moxy St. Petersburg Downtown and the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue into HHM's managed collection. Both organizations maintain strong operational ties to Greater Philadelphia and South Florida, regions where the combined entity will now command expanded market presence.

"This is an exceptional opportunity for HHM Hotels to grow alongside industry partners who share our passion for excellence," Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer Shawn Tuli said in a statement. He noted that the acquired portfolio aligns with regions where HHM already maintains significant operations, allowing the company to capitalize on existing regional infrastructure.

The alliance reunites two founder-led companies whose relationship extends beyond three decades, according to company leadership. Wurzak Hotel Group Chairman and CEO Howard Wurzak emphasized the longevity of the partnership. "I have spent my entire career in this business, and the partnerships that endure are the ones built on trust long before they are put on paper," he said.

Co-CEO Jake Wurzak highlighted operational benefits for transferred properties, noting that hotels and staff would gain access to enhanced technology platforms and career advancement opportunities within HHM's broader network. The transition reflects HHM's continuing expansion strategy across United States and Canadian markets through selective management partnerships.

Financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed. The deal positions HHM to leverage what executives describe as institutional-quality operational standards across an expanded portfolio while maintaining the entrepreneurial approach both organizations share.
