How do I get from the airport to the city in Prague?
Take Bus 119 from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 to the Nádraží Veleslavín metro station, then ride Line A (green) into the center — the full trip runs about 45 minutes and costs 40 CZK (roughly $1.80) with a 90-minute transfer ticket bought from the yellow machines at the bus stop. The ticket covers the bus and metro on a single fare. If you land late or have heavy luggage, the Airport Express bus runs directly to Praha hlavní nádraží (the main train station) for 100 CZK and takes around 35 minutes with no transfers, though it stops running around midnight. Taxis from the arrivals hall are consistently overpriced; if you need a car, book through Bolt or Liftago before you land and meet the driver at the designated rideshare pickup zone outside the terminal. Avoid anyone approaching you inside offering a ride.
