Yuki Tanaka

Yuki Tanaka writes about Japan and East Asia for destination.com. Based in Kyoto, she covers the country's regional food cultures, ryokan traditions, and the slower rhythms of Japan beyond the Tokyo–Kyoto–Osaka triangle. She writes the quarterly "Letter from Japan" column. Previously she spent four years as a regional editor at Brutus and Casa Brutus and has contributed to Monocle and the FT Weekend.
